IV. Yichang Maojian Tea

宜昌产茶历史悠久，最早可追溯至三国时期,历史上以生产绿茶为主,加工技艺成熟,茶叶品质优异。茶园终年云雾环绕，雨水充沛,土壤肥沃,气候温和，独特的小气候孕育出宜昌毛尖的优异品质，其典型品质特征为“绿豆清汤，鲜嫩栗香”。干茶外形紧细圆直显锋苗，汤色嫩绿明亮，香气高长持久，滋味鲜醇爽口,叶底嫩匀鲜活。品之齿颊留香，回味隽永，沁人心脾。
The City of Yichang has a long history of producing tea, which can be traced back to the Period of Three Kingdoms (220-280). In history, it mainly produced green tea, with mature processing techniques and excellent tea quality. The tea garden there is covered in clouds and mist all year round, with abundant rainfall, fertile soil and mild climate. Thanks to the unique local climate, Yichang Maojian Tea boasts a premium quality: its dry leaves are compact, thin and round, with straight tips; the tea soup is bright and delicate green, offering lasting fragrance and mellow and fresh taste; and its wetted leaves are even, fresh and tender. The tea leaves on the palate a lingering fragrance and aftertaste that is both refreshing and invigorating.
